If you are in the Guildford area and are self-isolating, feel you need support or would like to help others, Guildford Borough Council have set up some phonelines, detailed below.


Call the Community Helpline on

01483 444400 or go online at www.guildford.gov.uk/home for help with food, prescription collection and support for yourself - or you can register a relative, friend or neighbour on their behalf (helpline is open Monday-Friday 8.30am-7pm and Saturday-Sunday and Bank Holidays 10am-2pm).


Call the Safe and Settled team on

01483 444476 if you have recently come home from hospital or are struggling to manage at home. The team can help with adaptions, urgent repairs to the home and also answer queries about private tenancy agreements and landlord disputes. (Helpline is open Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm and Saturday-Sunday and Bank Holidays 10am-2pm).


Call 01483 505050 if you would like to volunteer to help others and you will be put in touch with community groups.

For over 60s - Diana Rang is running free Paracise classes on Zoom for the over 60s. Standing Paracise classes (can hold on to chair for balance if needed) will be every Monday at 10am. Seated Wobble classes every Monday at 11am. Sociable, fun and great for improving mental and physical wellbeing.
