We are very much based in our communities here on Bellfields, Slyfield and Jacobs Well and are also aware that this community is wherever we find ourselves - at work or out with friends or with family at home.
We are people who have a hope: a hope of transformation within ourselves and within the world that God made through his love for us. Hope of restoration and forgiveness in the person of Jesus Christ and power to live life with the help of the Holy Spirit.
We express this in different ways as we are committed to ‘Sharing Christ's Love in this Community.’
St Peter's is a Church of England Church and a United Reformed Church too. We are one congregation but we come from different denominations. If you decide to become a full member of this church you can choose to join the Anglican (C of E) electoral roll or the Free church roll which includes Baptist, Pentecostal and URC denominations.
Originally, there were two churches and two congregations but when the Kaye hall (URC) was closed the congregations moved in together. Today there is no longer a URC minister among us.
